SR Sakae / Ringyo Seatpost from the late 1970’s and made in Japan. Nice crest Logo. The Royal Extra Super Light had Adjuster Bolts made of Titanium. Royal Super Light had a milled middle Pin, compared to the Royal. All Royal were made of Duraluminium.
The Sakae Ringyō (Sakae Ringyo Ltd.) was a Japanese manufacturer of bicycle components. The company manufactured cranks, stems, handlebars, Headsets and bottom brackets. In the heyday of racing cycling in the 70s and 80s, the company equipped bike manufacturers such as Motobécane, Raleigh and Pinarello with components. Together with Suntour, Sakae Ringyo was acquired by the Mori Kōgyō (Mory Industries) group and became SR Suntour later.
